The American Marketing Association Applied Research Mehods is an intensive, customized learning experience, focused on practical applications and readily implemented solutions in Marketing Research.

Over this three day event, attendees are able to select and attend the tutorial session(s) that meet their learning needs. Each tutorial will:

  • Provide a strucutred overview of the selected topic area.
  • Identify and structure important methods and applications.
  • Compare and contrast the given methods and applications for strengths and weaknesses.
  • Use practical applications as an expository tool.

Cancellation received prior to March 19, 2012 will receive a refund of tutorial fees, minus $15 per tutorial. After March 19, 2012, a refund of tutorials will be granted, minus $30 per tutorial cancellation fee. No refunds will be issued on or after April 16, 2012. Please note the $150 registration fee is non-refundable.

The reservation cut-off date is Monday, March 19, 2012
The AMA has negotiated special group rates for the American Marketing Association. You must make your hotel reservations by March 19, 2012 and request the American Marketing Association room block to qualify for the special group rate. After March 19, 2012, the rooms will be released for sale to the general public, and all reservations will be accepted on a space available basis at the hotel's available rate - not at the group rate. A deposit equal to (1) one night’s stay is required to hold your reservation.  Your deposit will confirm your reservation and upon check-in, will be applied to the first night of your reserved stay.  Deposits are refundable if cancellations are received at least seventy-two (72) hours prior to arrival and a cancellation number is obtained.

Check in time is 3:00 p.m., and check out is at 11:00 a.m.  Anyone arriving earlier than 3:00 p.m. will be checked in as soon as a room(s) becomes available.

Transportation
A variety of shuttle/limousine services are available at McCarran Airport, and are located on the west side of baggage claim outside door exits 7-13.  Please note that there are both group shuttle and "for-hire" stretch limousine services.  The super shuttles that drop off multiple Strip properties are generally $6-7 one way. Shuttle fares are subject to change without notice.

Taxis are approximately $15.00 one-way depending on time of day & traffic. Taxicabs are available on the east side of baggage claim outside door exits 1-4.  Airport personnel are available on the taxi curb to assist passengers
