Ann is the Chief Visionary Officer of Converge Consulting, a measurable multi-channel marketing firm for professionals who want to better understand their target audience's motivations. She brings more than 20 years of marketing, consulting and non-profit experience to help her clients meet their marketing and fundraising goals. Prior to founding Converge, Ann served as Director of Consulting for Stamats, a premier higher education marketing firm, where she provided leadership to ten sales consultants, developed integrated marketing programs for colleges and universities nationwide, serving as the liaison between the client and project team.
Ann has worked with dozens of higher education clients, from large to small, that include University of Michigan, Northwestern, and Emerson College, where she served as an integral part in developing research strategies and multi-channel marketing plans. Additionally, Ann has spoken on various higher education marketing topics across the country.
Outside of the higher education arena, Ann is passionately involved with many non-profit organizations, such as Big Brothers Big Sisters, Junior League of Cedar Rapids, Leadership Iowa, and lead the marketing efforts for the Ladies Titan Tire Challenge, an LPGA event, where she solicited over $55,000 worth of earned media, and donated 500 hours of volunteer time.
Ann recently received the Corridor Business Journal’s Nonprofit Innovation Award in Brand Identity/Unique Marketing Campaign category on behalf of the Junior League of Cedar Rapids, as well as their “40 Under 40” Award spotlighting 40 of the area’s outstanding leaders under the age of 40 who has made a significant impact in their business or community early in their careers.
Ann earned her B.S. in Business/Marketing from Iowa State University and is currently working on her MBA at the University of Iowa
