Bob consults with clients to analyze their marketplace, segment customers, profile customer groups, and design targeted marketing treatments and campaigns, all to retain the most profitable customers and grow the ones with the most potential. As a former database marketing analyst, Bob works with his clients to evaluate the results of marketing campaigns, provide insights and make strategic recommendations for future retention and growth initiatives.
Bob has nearly a decade of loyalty and database marketing experience. As a licensed CPA, Bob also brings an element of financial expertise to his strategic marketing role. He understands how marketing treatments impact clients’ profitability and how to financially justify retention and migration-based strategies. He has helped many clients prepare business cases for their senior management to approve strategic marketing initiatives. In addition to Maritz, Bob worked in direct marketing at Elsevier, brand marketing at Sara Lee Baking Company and credit card loyalty with MasterCard.
Bob received his BSBA from the University of Missouri, where he majored in Finance and minored in Marketing. He is a Certified Public Accountant and obtains ongoing continuing education credits to maintain his license.
