Deborah Wall leads the Customer Insights capability/center of excellence for GE Capital Americas Strategic Marketing.  Her team has worked with Capital Americas businesses to help them understand and meet customer needs through execution of VOC studies like needs based segmentation, VOC usage and attitude/choice, NPS and focus groups/in depth interviews.  Her team has primary research capabilities to allow internal execution of these studies, making the capability affordable and accessible.  She and her team moved from Capital Solutions in Dec 2008, where she was the Customer Experience and Segmentation leader.  She joined Capital Solutions, one of the largest global commercial lenders in May 2008.  Her team managed and created customer centric segmentation, analysis, research and strategies which identify and serve the needs of the most profitable customers from 9 different businesses in the US, Latin America and Europe.

In 2007 she lead the Americas Segmentation and Targeting/Marketing Analytics for GE Money – Americas, a leading provider of credit services to over 50 million consumers throughout the U.S., Canada and Latin America.  Her group managed the creation and application of consumer and customer level insights derived from marketing analytics through prospect and customer information.

Deborah joined the company in May 2007 from Wells Fargo where was she was a Senior Vice President and headed up a customer information management COE for the Consumer Lending Group.  She supported nine business units with CRM/targeting, campaign and applied insight management.  She also championed six sigma process management and best in class benchmarking for CIM/CRM capabilities. 

Deborah has over 20 years in retail banking and insurance customer information management and analysis.  In addition to Wells, she has held senior management roles at MBNA, Core States Bank, and Providian Insurance.   

Deborah has served on the DMA Financial Services Operating Committee and was the representative for Wells Fargo to receive the 2007 DMA Financial Services Company of the Year award for leadership in applied direct marketing in March of this year.  She has also received a Management Excellence award from Wells Fargo as one of the top managers in the company in 2005.

Wall has a Bachelor of Science and MBA in quantitative marketing from the University of Dayton and LaSalle University respectively.  She is a President’s scholarship recipient and graduated summa cum laude.
