Gene Rider is the President of Intertek Consumer Goods North America. He joined Intertek in 1998 as the Founder and President of RAM Consulting, a firm specializing in strategies for risk assessment & management through advanced safety testing and quality assurance.  Key clients include McDonald's (whose Happy Meal program makes them the world's largest toy maker), Nike, and Walmart.   Mr. Rider was appointed to the Board of Directors for The Society for Ear, Nose and Throat Advances in Children (SENTAC) in 2005, and has affiliations with The American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM), The Society for Risk Analysis (SRA) and The International Consumer Products and Health and Safety Organization (ICPHSO).
