Jennifer Dusenberry

Jennifer Dusenberry
Associate Vice President
Lipman Hearne

Jennifer is a communication strategist driven to help organizations connect with the people they care about most. Combining broad experience in communications, branding, and quantitative and qualitative research design, she opens new windows to what audiences think and feel, and how to best engage and motivate them.

A linguist, Jennifer is particularly attuned to how ideas are communicated. She grounds each of her efforts in a deep understanding of language—and the power of words to cue certain beliefs, expectations, and motivations.

Prior to joining Lipman Hearne, Jennifer served as senior communications consultant at Gallup, where she crafted communications campaign strategies, messaging, and materials for federal government clients, including the Federal Emergency Management Agency, the U.S. General Services Administration, and the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Service Administration.

Prior to Gallup, Jennifer served as senior account planner at Porter Novelli. In this role, she developed strategies to guide a range of integrated branding and communications campaigns, and designed and managed the research that informed strategy development. Her clients included organizations such as the National Aeronautics and Space Administration’s Science Directorate, the Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center, the U.S. Department of Agriculture, and the Public Health Accreditation Board.

In addition to this experience, Jennifer has served as a guest lecturer on branding and crisis communications at Georgetown University.

Jennifer received a B.A. in sociology and Plan II from the University of Texas at Austin, and an M.S. in linguistics from Georgetown University.
