Jim is an executive vice president and managing director of the Washington office of Lipman Hearne. He also heads up our health and wellness practice. Jim specializes in setting the strategic direction for and managing the execution of national branding campaigns for healthcare organizations.
He oversees execution and results for a range of clients working within today’s complex healthcare environment, including the American Medical Association, the Nurse-Family Partnership, the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, and the University of Cincinnati (UC Health). In addition to working to support health education and academic health center marketing campaigns, Jim has also introduced a sub-specialty within the health and wellness practice that focuses on obesity and nutrition education.
Prior to joining Lipman Hearne, Jim spent 13 years at Porter Novelli working with both private and public sector clients including HP, the National Cancer Institute, the National Institute of Mental Health, Nextel, the Public Broadcasting System (PBS), and Volunteers of America, among others.
His account work has resulted in his team being recognized by and winning awards from the American Advertising Federation, the National Association of Business Communicators, The One Show, and the Public Relations Society of America. Jim is a graduate of the Catholic University of America.
