Kay Keenan, M.B.A. is a dynamic marketing strategist. She is recognized as creative and goal oriented with demonstrated ability to deliver results that delight customers and exceed business goals. Her career has had a heavy emphasis in the areas of strategic marketing, consumer research, competitive intelligence, sales and marketing effectiveness.
Kay’s first 18 years in business were spent in a progression of operations and then marketing roles at Scott Paper. Following the merger of Scott Paper Company and Kimberly-Clark Corporation, Kay chose to join Delmarva Power, a Fortune 500 Investor owned utility as it was creating new strategic business units in the face of deregulation. For seven years, Kay ran Growth Consulting—a strategic business and marketing consultancy. In 2007, she was lured away by one of her clients, Big Brothers Big Sisters of America to lead their Marketing and Communications team. She is proud of her work there to help them reposition to become a donor and volunteer supported organization working closely with the Ad Council and achieving millions of dollars of pro bono creative and advertising support for the organization.
Kay was the fifth president of Wilmington Women in Business and is a past president of the Delaware Forum of Executive Women. She presents regularly on the topic of relationship building and growing your business. With co-author Steve Smolinsky, she co-authored, Conversation on Networking: building relationships for business and life.
