Kelley Styring is Principal of InsightFarm Inc. a consumer strategy and market research consulting firm, helping clients drive business growth through consumer insight. Kelley made international headlines in 2007 with her groundbreaking research study and book on women’s purses and their contents, In Your Purse: Archaeology of the American Handbag and more recently with the follow-up In Your Car: Road Trip through the American Automobile. .
Before founding InsightFarm, Kelley managed market research, introduced new products and directed consumer strategy at Procter & Gamble and Pepsi-Co’s Frito-Lay. Kelley earned her BS in industrial design from University of the Arts in Philadelphia and an MBA from the University of South Carolina. She’s an innovative user of social media tools and a frequent speaker at industry conferences, trade shows and corporate events. Her work has been featured in USAToday, Reuters, Advertising Age, Brandweek, Fortune, Good Morning America, Quirk’s Marketing Research Review, the U.K.’s Research, and on TV and radio programs nationwide.
Kelley makes her home with husband, Steve, and two children on the family vineyard in Oregon's Willamette Valley where her husband crafts award-winning Pinot Noir.
