If you are a marketing academician seeking employment or looking to change positions, the AMA Academic Placement Service is the perfect place to begin your search. This is a unique job service to help you review and apply for vacancies, participate in academic job fairs and post your credentials online.

Pricing: $80 per applicant

  • Online Listing of Resume
  • Access to Position Listings 
  • Use of Academic Placement Career Fair  (August 16-19 Chicago, IL)
  • Includes access to the placement room, where updated listings and onsite school location/school contact information can be found, use of computer terminals to leave messages/set up interviews and daily coffee
  • Includes access to Interviewing Area (must have badge to enter this area)

How do I list my resume as confidential?
To list your resume as confidential you may select the “confidential” field, if selected none of your information can be viewed by employers, however, you will still be registered for the service   
How do I participate in the career fair?
Once your resume is listed your schools will be automatically registered for the career fair
Do I need to register for the conference?
If you do not plan on attending any of the conference sessions or receptions you do not need to register for the conference.  Your registration includes a ticket to the Friday evening conference networking reception. 
What can I expect at the career fair?
The career hours and operating policies are found here
Once you arrive at the career fair you will receive a badge which will allows use of the computer terminals and access to the interview area
Many applicants schedule a full slate of interviews so you can expect a hectic time, to ease your time at the career fair try to schedule as many interviews ahead of time as possible and allow time in your schedule for breaks/rest
How do I Schedule Interviews?
Interview scheduling is done on your own, you may contact the schools directly and set up time/location.
